I was against Bob a number of times at Minshull St Crown Ciurt. He was a straight opponent and gentleman. Great company in between the court. Out of court I bumped into him and his wife often as I was chasing one of my three children or attempting to play football. He would always stop for a chat and a smile. He would often say how they my children reminded Him of his own at those ages. He was no doubt a wonderfully husband and family man. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time. The Northern circuit will Miss him fondly. SP
