Elizabeth 29th August 2020

I met Bob and Jane when I was a foreign exchange student at Sussex University in 1978-79 during the rise of the fabulous Golinski Brothers. It was an amazing time—a social revolution with the soundtrack of a music revolution. A lot of friendships were forged there. Thankfully, we have kept in touch over the years, albeit at a great distance. While Bob and Jane started as the best of friends, I think everyone who knew them were happy when they had the wisdom to grow their friendship into a life partnership, creating a family whilst forging stellar careers committed to social justice. Not many people have experienced such enduring friendship and love with a commonality of purpose over so many years…the two of them remain an inspiration to me. So my best to you, Jane, I hope that this extraordinary love helps carry you and your daughters through this time. Sending my deepest condolences to you. Liz Wilcox xx
