On several occasions I had the pleasure of mixing the talented post punk band Red Corner. I became good friends with the members of the band. Bob was a brilliant guitarist and had an exceptionally beautiful sound. He seemed to me a perfectionist, which I can relate to as a fellow musician. This showed itself most recently when I sought to add a bit of treble to his guitar sound and was quite rightly given short shrift! Bob also had a cool deadpan sense of humour and always seemed to make me laugh. The world has lost a great guy and and wonderful musician. Dom Jones
