I had the privilege of getting to know Bob when he was leading me for a number of weeks down in Ipswich. It was an absolute joy. He was a true gentleman with a great sense of humour. He was extremely proud of and loved his family deeply. He treated everyone with the utmost of respect regardless of who they were. I shall miss him enormously but I will forever be grateful for having known such an outstanding man. Andrew Petterson
