I can think of scores of people I have known for a long time that I couldn’t honestly say I have a sense of. I met Bob twice. Once at Kendal Calling and once at my daughter’s wedding. I felt I had a sense of him, and I can understand fully why people who were lucky enough to know him better are going to miss him so very much. My heart goes out to all of you grieving, especially my brother Rik who is simply heartbroken.
