I co-defended with Bob on one of my first effective lengthy cases. The case was particularly grim but Bob made the experience thoroughly enjoyable with his calm, wit, humour and wisdom. He even wangled us a week off after week 8 so he could enjoy a his family holiday in Portugal. His calm and reassuring presence will be greatly missed in the Robing rooms. Absolute Gent.
