I loved talking with Bob over a coffee or during lunch at court. He was kind, witty and full of interesting stories. We often chatted about politics - we didn't always agree on such matters and I can hear him now gently laughing in response to things I said (his polite and understated way of telling me I was talking rubbish). He really was a gentleman. I had great affection for Bob and miss him dearly. Al Bassano
